Memory Vials

अप्रतिम लादेन! माझ्या बहिणीच्या वाढदिवसाचे.. म्हणजे ९/११ चे अफगाणिस्तान आणि इराकवरच नव्हे तर तुमच्या माझ्यावरही परिणाम झाले. गोऱ्यांच्या उडालेल्या घाबरगुंडीमुळे काही जणांना विसा मिळवण्यात अडचण आली तर काहींना मिळालाच नाही.. (बेंडाळे, टाके उसवतील दमाने घ्या..). म्हणूनच विसा मिळवण्यासाठी हिरोने केलेल्या या सर्व खटाटोपांचे कौतुक वाटते. लादेन सारख्या दिसणाऱ्या नूरा कोंबडीवाल्याचे हाल पाहून हसता हसता पुरेवाट होते. कमी बजेट मधेही "technically correct" राहिले तर बाकी काम डिस्कवरी च्या फ्रेम्स वापरून पण होते हे लैच भारी.. बाकी अटकेपार झेंडे लावल्यानंतर पहिल्यांदाच पाकिस्तान मध्ये मराठी accent गेली असेल.. hehe.. हा सिनेमा बघून "Burn After Reading" ची आठवण झाली, फुल्ल वेड्यांचा बाजार.. मजा आली पण.. पिक्चर संपल्यावर या विसा प्रकरणावरून मलापण उगाच आपला डायलॉग मारावा वाटला.. "माय नेम इज 'आशिष शेटे', अॅन्ड आय अॅम नॉट अ टेररिस्ट".. कुणाल, सुहास.. बेंडाळे तिकडे लोळत असतील तर त्यांना उठवा.. :D :D

On a rainy day with no hope of reaching the office in time, the first thing that came to my mind was a few pending errands, but as I approached E-Square couldn't help and got the ticket of Inception 11.45 at about 11.55AM. Sure I lost the first 10 minutes, nevertheless the big task is complete now. With memories of Vanilla Sky which has the same concepts, I was hoping that this movie would spare me from further brain damage. Till the interval, it was more like explaining the background of what I was going to see in the latter half. Expectations were high and in those 5 minutes I got in the interval I wikied about what I had seen up to that point. I am not going to spoil the fun of this movie, but here is the description of what happened to me after I left the cinema hall. My bladder was fully stressed, don't know whether because of the 5-minute wiki in the interval or the tense action-packed second half. I pulled 1st door while coming down from the backstairs, it was locked...
