Do I Support Asaduddin Owaisi

Is there any Hindu who supports Asaduddin Owaisi?

I am not a political commenter. My political views are inclined towards BJP.

Having said that, I support Asaduddin Owaisi.

As a usual citizen of this country, it is not too difficult for me to understand that there is no black and white when it comes to almost anything in this world. When I say that I don’t support someone, the immediate question is, what is the option?

To give you an example, if someone asks you, if you would like to eat Oranges, you cannot just say no and ask for Apples instead. You ask what is the option. If the option is potatoes, better stay with the Oranges.

Asaduddin Owaisi is that Orange. We have got to admit that there are much worse politicians than him. Here, I am not even concerned about the religion of the other politicians.

If I have to choose between say Nitin Gadkari and Asaduddin Owaisi, I would go with Nitin Gadkari. If the other candidate is Digvijay Singh, I would vote for Asaduddin Owaisi without batting an eye. My guess is that most of the rational Hindus would choose to do that.

Now, compared to his whacky brother, Asaduddin Owaisi is a package. He is highly educated, he is a good parliamentarian, he is a patriot.

If anyone reading this has seen this clip when Asaduddin Owaisi lambasted the politicians of Pakistan in their own country, they would agree with me. He assertively told them that Indian Muslims are doing far better than Pakistanis and also warned them to mind their own country. (4:25)

Just for comparison, look at these clowns. Manishakar Ayyar and Salman Khurshid.

These geniuses went on a Pakistani Talk show and implied that Pakistan should help uproot a democratically elected government just because.. they were the sore losers. (1:40)

Now, I don’t support Asaduddin Owaisi in his every stance. But comparatively, educated and sane voices like him are what we have if we don’t want the likes of his nutcase brother to take over and drive everyone into chaos.

On the same lines, those who cry against a patriotic and disciplined organization like RSS should note that the power void will always be filled. If we don’t have RSS, the next best thing we will have is Bajarang Dal. So one has to be careful what one wishes for.
